Rafael Lukjanik offers with Modern Classix a perfect mixture of entertainment and virtuosity from Bach till Santana with xylo & vibraphone as virtuoso solo instruments and an outstanding band.

In the center of the spectacular repertoire stand brillant arrangements of famous orchestral pieces from Bach (Air) over Rimski-Korsakoff (Flight of the Bumblebee) till Gershwin (Rhapsody in blue and An American in Paris).

In pieces like America (Bernstein), Chopin meets Santana (Prelude in h & Oye Como Va), Shake´n´Tell (Rossini) or Rondo alla merengue (Mozart) it results in a real firework of sounds, rhythms and harmonies.

Rafael Lukjanik (xylo & vibraphone) will be accompanied by Gavin Brady (piano), Jörg Mühlhaus (double bass), Michael Großmann (drums) and Armin Heislitz (timpani &  latin percussion).
